Lots on Sportlots-Out for 5 Days due to illness

I apologize, I have had pnemonia for the last week or so, which has caused a couple of lots to be delayed in shipment. I had another person ship most of them, but unfortunately he did not know the location of all the items. I am just now able to get up and out of bed & wanted to let all know that any items delayed will go out ASAP tomorrow! AND once again I sincerely apologize.

We DO NOT conduct business in this way, as you know if you are an existing customer, and want to earn the business from our new customers, as well as continue the great relationships we have with our current customers. Please accept our apologies.

Also, to those that this has effected we will be offering a HUGE discount on next direct order. Please feel free to contact us with any type of item you are looking for and we will give you an offer you can't refuse!!

How to find Information on sports cards & memorabilia items on Sportlots

Often in description of our sports cards, sports collectibles and/or sports memorabilia we have listed in sportlots auctions we refer the buyer to go to Our Sportlots blog homepage for more information on the sports related item because of the limited characters sellers can use in the item description. Since html, which is a way you can place clickable links into a page, is not allowed, we just put the sportlots auctions & sports cards homepage link for the same reason: legnth restrictions-ex. the longer the link we type out, the more characters it takes up in the
Sportlots auctions
description.

The only problem with this is that our sportslots "homepage" is always changing with every post we make about sports auction lots, sportlots information, sports memorabilia for sale, or whatever the post may be. In most cases our most recent post will be the first post you will see on our Sportlots homepage, and you may be looking for a post on our baseball player lots, lots of autographed and/or game used baseball cards, single sports cards, wax boxes, or whatever the lot up for auction on sportlots or for sale as a fixed price may be. Fortunately, on the side of the page you have the option to choose "labels", which is basically the same as categories that the post falls in.

So, all you have to do is to look to the side of the page and click on the Items Listed link and it will bring up all posts with that label, which will contain the most recent posts first. These labels are also listed at the end of each post, but only if the post falls into that label, or category. Hopefully, as sportlots continues to grow it will allow more room for the description and the ability to place links into the description, but currently we would rather sportlots keep their format the same versus doing what Ebay has done and increase fees over and over.

Cheaper & Better Alternative To Ebay For Selling Sports Cards & Memorabilia

One of Best Alternatives to Ebay for Selling Sports Cards & Collectibles
Better Service and MUCH cheaper fees than Ebay
Save up to 85% or even more on FEES compared to Ebay

One reason we believe
Sportlots
is one of the best alternatives to ebay for selling sports cards and sports memorabilia, because you are able to save a ton of money on fees, not only do you save money by not having a final value fee, which sportlots does not charge on auctions, & listing fee, plus any additional features you may use on Ebay such as the featured auction function, which is around $20 or maybe higher now versus $1 on sportlots. AND you also save on the outreagous paypal fees associated with ebay because you are paid for each auction lot individually versus one payment from sportlots & the buyer payments are split between all the sellers a person buys from. And it is usually at least 2 or 3 different sellers if not more, so rather than the automatic 30 cents (may be higher now also) per payment plus the % of amount, you split both the 30 cents and the % with other sellers. So if there are 6 sellers you automatically take the initial 30 cents down to just 5 cents and are overall only paying about 15% of the amount you pay each time you make a sale via ebay. To put it into perspective, for ever $100 from paypal payments $15 to $50 on sportlots sales!! This alone enables us, and other sellers, to not only pass the savings on to the buyer, but also put sports cards with lower values up for auctions, which is just about impossible on Ebay without losing money!

Start buying and selling your cards today AND SAVE MONEY BOTH WAYS! Buyers save by sellers passing on the huge savings from the lower fees & buyers save, or make more, money by not incurring or drastically reducing the HIGH fees associated with Ebay & Paypal. Just click the banner below and you don't even need a credit card to sign-up and save with sportlots!!

BEST Alternative To Ebay For Selling Sports Cards & Memorabilia

Sportlots PLAYER LOTS, GU LOTS auto etc INFO

We recently bought out a huge collection consisting of tons of sports memorabilia and TONS of cards, at least 5 Million by our last estimate & we are almost positive there are more!!
These cards are not sorted through and picked over because we bought the entire collection, and the memorabilia was the larger part of the acquisition in regards to value/price. That doesn't mean the cards aren't worth a lot themselves, but when dealing with pre-50's auto'd memorabilia and items such as that it doesn't take a lot to get up there!!
Anyways the lots I'm selling will include what is in the description, such as the Manny Ramirez lot will include some inserts and will have some rookies along with other cards. Some player lots may have game used, Low serially #'d, rare or higher value cards as we are just pulling them out into the lots so we can move some of the cards quickly and make room!! So bid accordingly and assume that only what is stated IS in the lot will be there or if you are a gambling type you could take a chance but PLEASE remember that we are not stating anything in the lots will be there except what is stated WILL be in the lots not MAY!!
As for the Game Used & Auto'd lots- they should contain a mixture of brands etc... There will be some but not all nor limited & EACH LOT WILL CONTAIN DIFF. Cards that MAY include rookie auto's and/or game used, HOF GU, Stars AU/GU, Common AU/GU.... Bid accordingly, b/c if you got 6 semi-star GU and 4 semi AU what's it worth to you?

How Sportlots Auction Works- Better ALternative to Ebay Sell Sports Cards

Sportlots is a GREAT alternative to Ebay
for selling sports cards and collectibles.

SportLots provides two methods to buy and sell trading cards.

Sportlots: Fixed Price Format
Sportlots
provides a fixed price format through an on-line interactive trading card inventory system which allows buyers to search for the sports card(s) by Set, Player name and Team and purchase these cards from Sellers at a fixed predetermined price from one of many sellers. This is a great way to pick up those singles to fill out sets, player collections, or grab a card you want right away. The prices are typically very competitive and because of that affordable due to the large number of Sportlots registered Sellers.

SPORTLOTS: AUCTION FORMAT
Sportlots Auctions are very unique and are one, if not the best, alternatives to Ebay. These auctions are referred to as 1,2,3 auctions. Each lot begins at $.00 with opening bid of just $.25, which gives collectors opportunities at some great deals without the worry of others "sniping", or bidding at the last second, due to the format. The way it works is that each item begins on day 1 and will continue to be up for auction until it has gone for 3 consecutive days without a bid, hence the 1,2,3... When an item recieves a bid it returns to day 1 again and the time starts over and the item must go 3 consecutive days without a bid since the day of the last bid. Even if the item is on day 3 with one minute remaining and a bid is placed then it returns to day one, which is where the sniper concept is eliminated, as there is no "last second" bids.

Your first thought may be that it will take forever for items to get to the sold status. However, because there are NO Sniper activities in play, there is no reason why anyone should wait until the last day to place a bid. In reality, it's to a buyer's advantage to bid their maximum amount right away because the sooner an item goes SOLD, the fewer new people view the item you want.

Also, the postage cost is plainly stated and when buying multiple items from the same seller sportlots automatically reduces the postage, and items bought from multiple sellers within a 5 day period can be paid for with one payment. Collectors then make payment to sportlots via paypal, money order, or check. This also ensures a smooth transaction because rather than payment going directly to the seller it goes to sportlots, who pays the sellers monthly, and ensures the item(s) have arrived and are as described! Much safer and superior alternative to ebay for selling sports related items.

Game Used, Autographed & Insert cards Listed For Sale

We have listed a variety of items over the last day on sportlots ranging from Game Used cards to lots and autographed cards and even a set of Homerun Kings BamBeanos Beanies. These bears are pretty nice and were just one of the many sets that came out during the "beanie baby" craze. However, this specific set was one of the harder to find sets due to the production and the players: Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire, Roger Maris, and Babe Ruth.. It was out right after the big McGwire and Sosa slugfest year where records were broken like they were set yesterday..

About US: Get To Know Seller

Sportlots
is one place we are beginning to utilize to sell both our newer items and overstocked items to make room for current purchases. Our seller ID is KingCard. We have been selling on-line for over 10 years on sites such as Ebay and through classified type sites. We have over 5,000+ positive feedback from different buyers on Ebay, with a 99.9% positive rating, so buy with confidence. We have decided to move a large percentage of our items to sportlots for several reasons, but the main being the lower fees, which we can pass on to our buyers in the form of lower prices, and the customer service of a smaller site that is specific to sports related content.

We also have owned a retail store for 14 years and a wholesale department that was added to our business about 4 years ago. We deal in all areas of the sports collectibles arena and have a vast variety of items ranging from single cards to auto'd memorabilia and unopened wax, just to mention a few. One advantage we have over larger businesses is that we can bring you the items at a lower price because we founded our business in order to help support our collecting and not as a place to just make money, and we continue this philosophy to this day. So, you are not just buying cards from a dealer out to make a buck, but from a huge collector wanting to serve other collectors and build customer loyalty by offering both service and low prices. We know how hard it is to build that dream collection, especially today with the cost of cards higher than ever and the economy hurting many sports card collectors ability to continue collecting at the same level they are used to. Hopefully, we can make it a little easier to find what you are looking for and the lowest possible price.

We run daily, weekly and monthly specials that are first come first serve through email, regular mail and in-store promotions that contain HUGE blowout prices on all types of items. If you would like to be added to our email and/or mailing list just email us at sportlots@yahoo.com
Your email and/or address will NEVER be sold or shared with anyone and you will always have the opportunity to opt out of recieving emails. We send out emails on a weekly basis usually, with occassionaly a daily email on 24 hour specials, but you will never get blasted with emails like some other places will do..

Sportlots: Cards For Sale Auction-

Sportlots
. : Cards, Autographs, Memorabilia
,
& More For Sale On Sportlots & other Sites
Welcome to our blog dedicated cards and other sports memorabilia for sale at
Sportlots
. Sportlots gives both buyers and sellers an unique opportunity to both buy and sell their cards and sports related items in either a unique auction format or fixed price store format. The auction format is unlike others where there is a fixed amount of time, such as 3 days or 5 days, but it is a reverse auction format where the item is still active until it has went 3 consecutive days without a bid. This format removes the "sniper" from the equation and allows you as a buyer to bid the amount you want for an item and not worry about someone coming in with a few seconds left and outbidding you.
Another nice feature is the ability to search through fixed price items by player or set. This is great for both the seller and buyer alike. As a buyer it is very easy to find the card or cards you are looking for and as a seller you just upload the cards you have for sale through a very simple form by set. Also, on the buyer's side you will just have to send one payment for items bought from multiple sellers, and as a seller the fees for purchases through paypal are divided among the other sellers that sold cards to the person.
This is a great site with a pretty large group of members dedicated to sports collectibles!!
