Lots on Sportlots-Out for 5 Days due to illness

I apologize, I have had pnemonia for the last week or so, which has caused a couple of lots to be delayed in shipment. I had another person ship most of them, but unfortunately he did not know the location of all the items. I am just now able to get up and out of bed & wanted to let all know that any items delayed will go out ASAP tomorrow! AND once again I sincerely apologize.

We DO NOT conduct business in this way, as you know if you are an existing customer, and want to earn the business from our new customers, as well as continue the great relationships we have with our current customers. Please accept our apologies.

Also, to those that this has effected we will be offering a HUGE discount on next direct order. Please feel free to contact us with any type of item you are looking for and we will give you an offer you can't refuse!!

Sportlots PLAYER LOTS, GU LOTS auto etc INFO

We recently bought out a huge collection consisting of tons of sports memorabilia and TONS of cards, at least 5 Million by our last estimate & we are almost positive there are more!!
These cards are not sorted through and picked over because we bought the entire collection, and the memorabilia was the larger part of the acquisition in regards to value/price. That doesn't mean the cards aren't worth a lot themselves, but when dealing with pre-50's auto'd memorabilia and items such as that it doesn't take a lot to get up there!!
Anyways the lots I'm selling will include what is in the description, such as the Manny Ramirez lot will include some inserts and will have some rookies along with other cards. Some player lots may have game used, Low serially #'d, rare or higher value cards as we are just pulling them out into the lots so we can move some of the cards quickly and make room!! So bid accordingly and assume that only what is stated IS in the lot will be there or if you are a gambling type you could take a chance but PLEASE remember that we are not stating anything in the lots will be there except what is stated WILL be in the lots not MAY!!
As for the Game Used & Auto'd lots- they should contain a mixture of brands etc... There will be some but not all nor limited & EACH LOT WILL CONTAIN DIFF. Cards that MAY include rookie auto's and/or game used, HOF GU, Stars AU/GU, Common AU/GU.... Bid accordingly, b/c if you got 6 semi-star GU and 4 semi AU what's it worth to you?

How Sportlots Auction Works- Better ALternative to Ebay Sell Sports Cards

Sportlots is a GREAT alternative to Ebay
for selling sports cards and collectibles.

SportLots provides two methods to buy and sell trading cards.

Sportlots: Fixed Price Format
Sportlots
provides a fixed price format through an on-line interactive trading card inventory system which allows buyers to search for the sports card(s) by Set, Player name and Team and purchase these cards from Sellers at a fixed predetermined price from one of many sellers. This is a great way to pick up those singles to fill out sets, player collections, or grab a card you want right away. The prices are typically very competitive and because of that affordable due to the large number of Sportlots registered Sellers.

SPORTLOTS: AUCTION FORMAT
Sportlots Auctions are very unique and are one, if not the best, alternatives to Ebay. These auctions are referred to as 1,2,3 auctions. Each lot begins at $.00 with opening bid of just $.25, which gives collectors opportunities at some great deals without the worry of others "sniping", or bidding at the last second, due to the format. The way it works is that each item begins on day 1 and will continue to be up for auction until it has gone for 3 consecutive days without a bid, hence the 1,2,3... When an item recieves a bid it returns to day 1 again and the time starts over and the item must go 3 consecutive days without a bid since the day of the last bid. Even if the item is on day 3 with one minute remaining and a bid is placed then it returns to day one, which is where the sniper concept is eliminated, as there is no "last second" bids.

Your first thought may be that it will take forever for items to get to the sold status. However, because there are NO Sniper activities in play, there is no reason why anyone should wait until the last day to place a bid. In reality, it's to a buyer's advantage to bid their maximum amount right away because the sooner an item goes SOLD, the fewer new people view the item you want.

Also, the postage cost is plainly stated and when buying multiple items from the same seller sportlots automatically reduces the postage, and items bought from multiple sellers within a 5 day period can be paid for with one payment. Collectors then make payment to sportlots via paypal, money order, or check. This also ensures a smooth transaction because rather than payment going directly to the seller it goes to sportlots, who pays the sellers monthly, and ensures the item(s) have arrived and are as described! Much safer and superior alternative to ebay for selling sports related items.
